It’s the story of the day and now the week after Patryk Klimala signed on the dotted line with Celtic supporters wondering when and if Ismaila Soro will sign for the club.
Soro, 21, current plays for Bnei Yehudu in the Israel league but has been tipped to sign with the club shortly.
STV tonight reports the clubs have come to an agreement over a £2m deal which will see the defensive midfielder join Celtic.
SunSport reported earlier today it was the Israeli club and the player’s reps who were holding up the deal over what percentage his agents were due of the transfer fee.
This seems like it will be sorted out in due course.
Celtic splashing £2m on a defensive midfielder after bringing in a striker for £3.5m is a pretty big January outlay. Rewind back to last January when loan signings were prevalent as Brendan Rodgers and the board journeyed down a path there was eventually know way back from.
