Celtic legend and current ambassador Davie Hay has dismissed any suggestions there’s a debate over who the better striker is – Odsonne Edouard of Alfredo Morelos (Try and not to laugh).
For some reason, there’s a compulsion to compare and a flimsy attempt by those of a blue persuasion to try and pitch the idea the Columbian is a cut above Edouard. The striker himself is making a mockery of that idea on international duty this week as well as the sharp contrast in both players Glasgow Derby fortunes.
Edouard is a man for the big occasions, someone who can put the ball in the back of the net when Celtic really need him to. He won Celtic the Scottish Cup in May, he has won countless other games and even one at Ibrox with ten men. Alfredo Morelos has scored no goals against Celtic in eleven attempts and he’s had an open goal on more than one occasion.
Celtic fans who only watch the Ibrox side when they play Celtic just can’t fathom how Morelos manages to score on a semi-regular basis against other sides. He just doesn’t do it against bigger teams.
Davie Hay agrees and wrote this in his Evening Times column.
All part of the Sevco Agenda. To make them seem somehow Televant.Theyre Forever Delusional and it’s Alarming just how Absurd there Fans trail of thought musters these Fantasies about there players.Comparing Morelos to Edouard is like comparing a Lada to a Ferrari Ffs Don’t give The Delusional any Notice
