THE CELTIC SHOP is selling Japanese shirts on its website after establishing a strong connection with the country. With the manager arriving in Glasgow from the country, he’s brought four players with him, three of which are internationalists.

The country’s home and away shirts are available to purchase from the site here.

It comes ahead of the World Cup, in which Japan will be participating. Hopefully, Celtic fans can cheer on the bhoys representing their countries and will see some stars shine on the world’s stage.

Japan have an incredibly tough group. The country will play against Germany, Spain and Costa Rica. Maeda had taken Kyogo’s place in the squad when he was injured, with Kyogo’s goal-scoring form likely to earn him a place back.

Hatate has also been impressive as he looks to represent his country again after making his debut after joining Celtic.

It’s a smart move from Celtic and Adidas, who will likely generate a bit from shirt sales.
