The media have been reporting this for over a year but if there’s a jumping-off point for this to happen, it is likely to be this summer.

Celtic parted ways with Moussa Dembele two years ago in what was a record fee at the time, but they also negotiated a sell-on fee with Lyon to make sure they cashed in if the player hit it big.

Moussa has been Lyon’s main man but with the French club not making the Champions League they will look to cash in on at least one of their sellable assets. Put that together with the fact they’ve just signed a striker for £12m in Tino Kadewere, there’s more than a chance Moussa heads off this summer.

He appears to be in demand and although every club will be taking a financial hit due to the shutdown, the player will go for a large amount leaving Celtic quids in.

RecordSport claims the percentage of the sale is between 10/15%.
