CELTIC have announced that all money raised through this years’ Christmas Advert will go to the Celtic Foundation’s Christmas Appeal.

The version Auld Lang Syne used in the advert is now available to stream and download on Spotify, Apple Music, and iTunes.

The song is available for just 79p which will go straight to help those families, pensioners, and homeless and all those in need during this festive period.

For those with subscriptions, every time the song is streamed money is donated to the appeal. To Listen or download simply enter Auld Lang Syne (Celtic FC Version) into the search bar.

The Christmas advert was brilliant, from a touching tribute to the late Bertie Auld to embracing the jokes made by the fan base. Even Jota had a George Micheal part to play.

The voice behind the lyrics was Eddi Reader and she had this to say about the track;

“I love the fact that they’ve asked me. You know, Bertie’s gone this year and we had some nice times at the Lisbon Lions event with Bertie, and I think the song – ‘Auld Lang Syne’ – is really fitting. It’s a beautiful song.

“Singing this song is emotional anyway. The fact that it’s Scottish and it’s part of my heritage, and to say goodbye to people and to say that we’re still there in spirit, no matter how far away we’ve gone or how far apart we’ve been, we’re all together now – I love that thing about that song.”
