Celtic have today announced that season ticket holders will be able to watch Fran Alonso’s Hoops side take on Rangers Women this weekend via the Pass to Paradise.

Before the campaign got underway, supporters who renewed their season tickets for the 2021/22 campaign were left several promises, such as being able to access the Celtic Women and B sides games.

The club now appears to have finally started to honour those promises with the news that this weekend’s Glasgow Derby fixture will be available for all season ticket holders to watch on stream.

Of course, it would have been brilliant to see the possibility of having the game played within Parkhead and have fans attend, but there are still opportunities for that sort of idea to happen throughout the season.

However, it is good to see the club make this move in order for fans to have the accessibility to watch Fran Alonso’s team in action with their season ticket.

They go into the game on Sunday, still unbeaten and off the back of two good results this week, including a 3-0 over Hearts last night and an impressive 1-0 cup victory against our Glasgow rivals last weekend.

It is still possible to buy tickets for the event on the Airdrionians website, with the game taking place at the Penny Cars Stadium – 4:10 PM kick-off.

But, if not possible to attend, it is brilliant to see that Celtic supporters have the chance to watch the Women’s side in action this Sunday.
