CELTIC have confirmed a fixture change to the calendar due to the club’s participation in the Europa League qualifiers.

The game against Hibernian at the end of September was pencilled in for the Saturday but due to the Europa qualifier, it will take place at 3pm on Sunday.

Celtic fans will know the drill when it comes to the Europa League, our games being played on a Sunday have become a regular thing in the last two seasons with the club dropping out of the Champions League. Thursday fixtures mean Sunday games also, for better or worse.

The Hibernian game could be a match where fans are allowed back inside the stadium in small numbers but that will all depend on how the local lockdown goes over the next week or two.

The bhoys are chasing history under the most stressful conditions in the history of the modern game. At this point, finishing the season isn’t guaranteed.
