Celtic have confirmed today they will have 18,500 supporters in for the West Ham game on Saturday. The club have also confirmed the Dundee home game at the beginning of August will host 24,500 fans as we move towards full capacity.

Scotland is in level 0 where there’s a standard 2000 people allowed at an outdoor event but clubs are permitted to request more.

It will give supporters a lot of hope that by the end of August, we will be near enough at full capacity. As more people get vaccinated the government is allowing more large gatherings.

Celtic had 9000 through the turnstiles against Midtjylland on Tuesday evening and they made great noise.

The West Ham game will see even more fans through the door with many getting their first chance to be inside the stadium since March 2020.

Celtic will have another qualifier at home whether they win or lose against Midtjylland. A Champions League tie if we win and a Europa League qualifier if we lose the tie in Denmark.
