In one of the most uncertain times in any sport probably since the world war clubs and fans are second-guessing what will happen next. The truth is nobody knows, even the health experts don’t know what is going to happen in the next few days never mind months.
All the clubs can do is there best. Across all sports, the revenue been lost is just not possible to calculate in these unprecedented times. We are talking billions though and there is a lot of clubs that won’t survive this shutdown.
Celtic Football Club has just taken to Twitter to announce an extension for season ticket renewals. This time last season the club had a waiting list of 10,000 Celts looking for a season book. Now with so many people out of work people are quite understandably hanging onto whatever few quid they have and sport will, of course, take a back seat.
As a Season Ticket holder you have supported the team and the Club through highs and lows, and we want you to be there again, standing with us next season.
That’s why we have now extended the renewal deadline from Friday, May 1 to Friday, May 29, for all Season Ticket holders ⬇️
