CELTIC have announced that they have sold out their Premier Sports Cup Final allocation. The Hoops are set to face Hibs in the final, who have been permitted just under 20,000 fans despite taking just 6,500 to the semi-final.

The controversial issue has resulted in many Hoops fans who attended all three cup games missing out on the final. After ballots were carried out, Celtic simply didn’t have enough seats to allow everyone to attend the match due to be played on Sunday the 19th.

Ange Postecoglou will lead his team into his first final as Celtic manager and attempt to win his first piece of silverware in his first six months as boss. The last visit at Hampden saw Celtic come out 1-0 winners and progress to the final.

Opposition Hibs had to overcome the Ibrox club to reach the final stage, they won 3-1 in the last round. Jack Ross has been sacked, leaving Hibs in search of a new manager just a week before the final.
