Today, Celtic have announced that the club have sold a record number of season tickets, with fans defying expectations, yet again.

The club announced this with an official statement this afternoon, which was published on the official website, reiterating how thankful they are for every single supporter.

The number is thought to be around the 60,000 mark, as the faithful support have continued to back the Bhoys despite the tough times that everyone has faced over the last few months.

This has again shown how much the fans love and adore the club, as we still do not know when we will be allowed back in stadiums to watch the hoops. So for now, season tickets will consist of a ‘Pass to Paradise’ that you can watch online.

Of course, this system was tested over the last weekend in preparation for the beginning of the new league campaign on Sunday, when Celtic faced off against Ross County on Sunday and Hibernian yesterday. Winning both respective games, 2-0 and 3-1.

As fans have continued to back the club and pump their well earned cashback in, here is hoping we see this same commitment on the pitch and behind the scenes, with a number of new faces entering the club in the coming weeks, ahead of such a crucial season in the club’s history.
