We don’t always agree with Chris Sutton but his big verdict on the game against Valencia is hard to argue with.
The former Celtic striker pointed out what Celtic were missing and how a clever Valencia side were able to easily pick them off in the end.
After an encouraging start, the bhoys reverted to passing sideways, backwards and looked bereft of ideas when they were closed down by the La Liga club.
Sutton was inside the stadium as he watched his old club capitulate in the last 32 of the Europa League and you can see his frustration.
"This is Celtic, in a knockout stage European competition, and they don't have a recognised number nine…"
"That is not good enough!"@chris_sutton73 believes Celtic were found out against a "streetwise" Valencia side in the #EuropaLeague tonight. pic.twitter.com/TpVKp6pgtU

Celtic head over to Spain in a week to take on Valencia in the second leg with little to no hope of progressing beyond this stage.
The bhoys are still fighting on two fronts domestically and will have to quickly shake off this defeat in order to keep their momentum going in the league.
Sutton.is correct they don’t have a recognised number 9 defence is pish never rated boyata Izzy simuvic tae need better class in defenders.
With 39 million in bank board are a fecking joke.
