The Champions will host 3rd-placed Aberdeen today to a sold-out Paradise. Celtic are now aiming towards extending their lead at the top of the table to ten points. For all the “Title Race” talk the all too familiar double-digit gap can return.

Neil Lennon has just guided the Hoops to 2 consecutive victories against Hearts and Hibs. Now he has to pick up and continue a perfect home record. Celtic’s domestic record in 2019 has been nothing short of perfect. The champions have won all their games, failing to keep a clean sheet in just 2 games. Celtic are unbeaten at Paradise this season domestically.

Aberdeen find themselves in 3rd place, fighting it out with Kilmarnock to remain there. They also have a chance to meet Celtic at Hampden again in a semi-final if they can get past the Rangers at Ibrox in a replay.

The Celtic squad has just enjoyed its first week of rest since January. The Hoops have been playing 3 games a week for pretty much the whole season. Hopefully, the extra few days recovery can be used to blow Aberdeen away and the gap at the top of the table can be sent into double digits.
