CELTIC are the world’s most favourite Scottish football club according to a study into web searches!
The bhoys were subject to a whopping 946,000 google searches per month last year. Their closest Scottish competition came from The Ra Gers who clocked in at 772,450.
The bhoys are massive worldwide and their success over the past ten years has seen a very diverse and expanding fan base from all corners of the globe.
Celtic is a worldwide brand — the new Adidas deal another feather in the cap of the soon to be nine in a row champions.
Data firm SEMrush rounded up all stats to the nearest ten according to SunSport.
The other four Scottish clubs who took up the top six were:
- Hearts – 139,190
- Dundee – 96,170
- Motherwell – 59,210
- Hibs – 57,050
Celtic continue to be the leading club in Scotland in almost every metric. The bhoys are trendsetters and the benchmark for Scotland.
