CELTIC COLTS were in action on Monday night. With John Kennedy in attendance, the young hoops left Broadwood Stadium 2-0 winners.

Owen Moffat opened the scoring after just two minutes, Bruno Davidson went on a superb run with the ball to provide the assist. Beating several players, he crossed the ball to Owen Moffat who had to knock it into the net at the far post.

Celtic remained dominant for the remainder of the first half and maintained possession well leaving goalkeeper Tobi Oluwayemi with a quiet game.

The away team headed into their dressing room a goal to the good at half-time.

In the second half, Cumbernauld Colts were on the front foot but Celtic’s defensive partnership of Lawal and Murray dealt with the pressure well.

Bruno Davidson doubled the visitors’ advantage after Ben Wylie had driven into the opposition box from midfield and played in Davidson who smashed it past the keeper at his near post.

The referee blew the final whistle in the cold Broadwood Stadium with a score of 2-0. The three points moved Celtic up the table and now occupy 6th, with games in hand on the surrounding teams.
