Celtic B soundly beat Rangers B at their training ground on Tuesday afternoon in the Glasgow Cup. The bhoys winning 3-1 on the day.

Two goals from Joey Dawson and one from Mackenzie Carse was more than enough to win the game on our rival’s backdoor.

Celtic B have been in great form this season. They’re currently third in the Scottish Lowland League but could go top if they win their game in hand.

The choice to go with Darren O’Dea and Stephen McManus as a head coach pairing has proven to be a great decision by the hierarchy. The young side have shown much more promise this season.

Ange Postecoglou has brought many of the youth side to Lennoxtown this season to train with the first team. Rocco Vata and Bosun Lawal have even made match day squads. Vata is currently out injured but is perhaps the biggest prospect at the club at present.

It’s always great to beat The Rangers. The Women’s side and the First team own victories over their Glasgow rivals in the last few weeks and the B team have their own win now.
