CELTIC have begun to refund the Hoops supporters for their cancelled Boxing Day trip to Perth on Sunday.

The game is still going ahead but will do so without any Celtic supporters in the ground. St Johnstone can have up to 500 supporters if they wish.

It comes as the winter break will be pushed forward in an attempt to beat the latest restrictions and allow fans back in for the two ties that are scheduled on both sides of the Hogmanay celebrations.

Celtic failed to get a win in Paisley on Wednesday meaning the game against last season’s cup experts becomes even more important.

Fans purchased tickets for the game well in advance of the new restrictions coming in. The way it works, Celtic get handed the briefs to sell to supporters and then send the money onto St Johnstone. The club will now be refunding every single person who purchased a ticket.

It’s a shame fans won’t be in the ground, but hopefully, this is temporary.

  1. Two groups of two hundred and forty nine, will amass outside the stadium to support the Celtic team as they enter, play, and welcome them out. They should have cancelled the train journeys as well.
Ohhhh never mind ‘ I’l duce’ Sturgeon, you can always get punished in your own boudoir by your flabby husband.
