While the transfer talk has predominantly been about Kristoffer Ajer and Odsonne Edouard, there could be another Celtic player courted by another club before the transfer window closes.

According to Football Insider, West Brom are looking into a bid of around £12m to take Olivier Ntcham down south.

Celtic will sell any player for the right price and if Olivier fancied the move then it could be one that suits all parties.

However, Ntcham does add quality to our midfield, albeit not consistently. To lose any player so close to the deadline wouldn’t be ideal. Celtic wouldn’t likely replace Oli straight away and might see David Turnbull as the guy already there to do that.

In that respect, Celtic would be weakened by the deal on the field. It would open up more opportunities for Turnbull to get into the starting XI.

Any time Ntcham has been linked with a move away, it has been back to France or to Southampton. This appears to be a new link.
