LEAGUE TITLE winning Callum McGregor hailed his teammates after a 1-1 draw in Tayside was enough to ensure that Celtic would be crowned champions full-time.

The point was also enough to secure European football for the Arabs, with Ross County falling to defeat.

This is the second trophy Callum has won as Celtic captain; his first was in December, when a Kyogo brace saw the Hoops come back from a goal behind to win the cup. Although, I’m sure Celtic’s title win will top that for Callum and all the players involved.

Speaking live on Sportsound on Wednesday night, Callum revealed he was proud of his teammates, saying;

“I’m absolutely so proud of the lads, of everyone at the club. We’ve all come together, a new group of players and they’ve been absolutely relentless since day one.”

A stunning Dylan Levitt strike cancelled out another first touch finish from Giakoumakis. However, it wasn’t enough to cancel the Bhoys’ celebrations.

The party didn’t stop at Tannadice, though. Fans were waiting at Parkhead for the team’s bus to arrive to celebrate their title win with the players.
