SCOTT BROWN has commented on the so-called rift between himself and the Celtic manager. A silly rumour spread through social media and has only now been picked up by some in the mainstream media who asked the Celtic captain about it.
Broony found it funny more than anything with the player detailing he has had a good relationship with Neil Lennon both as a manager and when he left the club a few years back.
“Brilliant, our relationship has always been good.” Brown told CelticTV.
“When he left we stayed in touch the whole time, there’s no rift between the two of us, it’s good to read though, so keep that coming.”
Scott will lead the bhoys out against Hamilton on Saturday hoping to keep their 100% SPFL record intact.
It’s going to be a tricky tie with Hamilton going to try their best to stifle the Celtic team and the added complication of an artificial surface means nothing can be taken for granted.
Neil Lennon has already warned his team against complacency and understand the Ibrox win counts for nothing if the players don’t do the business at New Douglas Park.
