CALLUM MCGREGOR is confident his side can turn things around when his team fly to Norway next Thursday.

The captain witnessed an embarrassing result play out in front of him, although he is one of the very few players who can hold their head high after the match.

As quoted by the Daily Record, McGregor has faith in his team to progress to the next stage of European football.

“There was enough in the game to suggest we can go there and turn it around.

We need to stay focused and stay calm. We know it will be a tough game out there but I saw enough in the match to believe can turn it around.”

The disappointing record for Celtic continues, with the side failing to win a knockout round game in Europe since 2004. Next week, Postecoglou’s bhoys will look to rubbish this.

The task ahead will be challenging, but the captain’s confidence should reflect onto the players as they look to put in a performance in the return leg.

Postecoglou will be furious with what he witnessed. He too will believe in his players that they can progress to the next round of the Conference League.
