Celtic made waves in Glasgow on New Year’s Eve with their triple signing but they’re also making headline sports news in Japan.

The bhoys have caught the attention of the Japanese media by signing three players from the J-League on the one go.

Daizen Maeda, Yosuke Ideguchi and Reo Hatate all signed for Celtic and are now part of Ange’s revolution at Celtic.

The club is turning heads in the country and having already signed Kyogo, the interest from Japan is only growing stronger.

Celtic impressed their support by getting so many deals done very early ahead of the winter break restart later in January.

The club knows signing more players in Japan will heighten their profile in the country and provide more merchandising opportunities.

We already have a Japanese social media feed on Twitter. In Japan, Twitter is the number one social media app.

Celtic fans just want to see these players hit the ground running. Any other positives from the transfers will be a bonus.
