BRISTOL LIVE are reporting Celtic had a scout in attendance at the Bristol City game midweek to watch City beat Ipswich Town 3-2.

The rumours down south suggest Celtic were eyeing up one man in particular and that is Chelsea defender Tomáš Kalas.

The Chelsea defender is currently on-loan with the Robins but it’s thought the Stamford bridge club could recall him if a firm permanent offer comes in for his services.

The Czech defender has been at Chelsea since 2010! During that time the player has had 6 separate loan spells from clubs from around the continent.

There are still three years left of his current deal with Chelsea but could be looking to make a permanent move away from London.

It’s thought Celtic were running the rule of the 25-year-old as the club assess their options.

Current defensive pairing Filip Benkoivc and Dedryck Boyata both look set to leave the club at the end of the season so Celtic are being very active on the recruitment front.

  1. Yeah , as you say , running the rule over him , no more than that , don’t jump to conclusions, like real journalists do , ie 2&2 makes 5 , it’s nonsense, look at the number of loan clubs he’s had already, that must tell you something, don’t write for writings sake
