He said: (RecordSport), “I don’t blame Wilfried Nancy for this current melee. I blame those responsible for bringing him in, the ones who overestimated the quality of the players that Celtic have.
“If this was always going to be Nancy’s way, whether it was Paul Tisdale or whoever, they must have known he was going to do this.
“The first question should have been: do we have the players capable of doing this? We know the answer.
“This situation can’t be allowed to drift.
“Either back him with quality players immediately or make the decision to get a more adaptable manager.”
From a Celtic view, these comments reflect a growing loss of trust in direction rather than just results. Many supporters feel caught between patience and fear.
