Neil LENNON is still the Celtic manager and has given a transfer update after it emerged Jeremie Frimpong is on his way out of the club.

With less than a week until the window closes, Celtic have not added anyone to the squad who can come in and help the first team.

However, the Celtic manager has revealed there’s two deals in the offing.

“WE ARE LOOKING AT A NUMBER OF POSITIONS AND OPTIONS AND WE THINK WE ARE A BIT OF THE WAY DOWN THE LINE WITH ONE OR TWO DEALS. HOPEFULLY WE HAVE SOMETHING FOR YOU OVER THE NEXT FEW DAYS. ” Neil Lennon told CelticTV.

These deals will no doubt either be loan deals or low budget deals.

With the current situation surrounding the manager, there’s no way any heavy investment will be made. Nobody believes Neil Lennon will be here past the summer.

We need to see some personal pride back in our team and while we can’t win the league we should be making sure we’re not embarrassed between now and the end of the season. Famous last words.

  1. I am glad Frimpong is off for a fantastic fee, that is a great piece of business by Celtic, and I honestly wasn’t a big fan of his anyway. I don’t like “defenders” who cannot tackle or defend properly, we already have a few of them. The buying Club are making a big mistake in my opinion, but I wish him all the best.
