Cormac Ryan from the Celtic Collective has spoken honestly about the group’s recent meeting with the Celtic board. He shared how disappointed many were after what turned out to be a frustrating experience.
The meeting came after weeks of rising fan concern and an open letter signed by hundreds. Supporters had hoped the board would listen seriously and offer some real answers. But according to Ryan, the board didn’t even meet the basics of what fans were asking for.
Those who went in weren’t looking for a fight, they just wanted an open discussion. Instead, Ryan said the board gave vague replies and refused to take any real responsibility. While the club insists things are fine with recruitment and youth development, fans simply don’t buy it.
Ryan’s comments reflect a growing feeling among the support: that they’re not being heard, and the board isn’t willing to change.
He said: (The Trinity Tims Podcast), “We went in good faith, hoping for a meaningful discussion, but it didn’t happen. Many Collective members felt sad or disappointed — we don’t want conflict with the board.
“We want to be proud of how the club is run, and that was our attitude going in. But it wasn’t returned.
“The answers felt like stonewalling or didn’t hold up. Saying they’re happy with Europe, youth, and recruitment doesn’t stand up.
“Qualifying for Europe 19 out of 20 times sounds good, but in Scotland, that’s expected — it’s like giving every kid a bronze medal. Pointing to Forrest, McGregor, or Tierney as youth success shows how out of date things are.”
For many, the meeting confirmed what they already suspected, that real dialogue with the board is still a long way off. Instead of progress, fans were met with the same old lines.
The club’s leadership may believe things are on track, but Ryan’s account suggests they’re badly misreading the mood in the stands. Confidence isn’t just low, it’s vanishing.

If anything, the board’s unwillingness to engage openly has only strengthened the Collective’s resolve. What started as frustration is now shaping into something more organised and focused.
Ryan’s comments weren’t just about one meeting. They were a reminder that supporters won’t settle for being ignored, and that the push for accountability isn’t going away.

A poorly written piece here I suspect. It was probably meant to read “Celtic Collective FRUSTRATING”.
This bunch of idiots are trying very hard to bring our club down, and you bunch of useless media clowns are facilitating them!
Come May while Hearts are celebrating the title, you can all celebrate with them and pretentiously point fingers at the board!

How on earth did you manage to type that out while, all the while, sucking Pete the Parasite’s withered old cock ?
