It has been coming since January but Cameron Harper has officially moved back to the states and will join up with New York Red Bull.
The youngster made his Celtic debut back in January when half the team had to quarantine after coming back from Dubai.
It’s been known in recent times the player wanted to head back to the USA and many believed the deal would have been concluded sooner than now. The club finally disclosed the deal had been done on Friday afternoon.
We have reached an agreement with @NewYorkRedBulls for the permanent transfer of young forward Cameron Harper. @cameron__harper leaves with the best wishes of everyone at the Club. #CelticFC ?

The new MLS season starts shortly so the club have decided to bring in Harper immediately meaning a fee of some sort has been exchanged for the players early release.
Harper will go down as another good Celtic prospect who appears to have been a victim of a poorly structured youth system where meaningful and competitive games are at a premium.
We wish him all the best for the future.
