CELTIC’S Fan Liason Officer has announced on social media the club will this week sit down and discuss what they can do to offset the fact if Celtic win the treble treble they CAN’T celebrate at their own stadium like they did last year.

We reported yesterday that the club’s hands were now tied by accepting a booking for the stadium that day for the Rugby Guinness PRO14 final. That match will kick off at 6:30 pm, an hour and a half after Celtic vs Hearts is scheduled to end if there is no extra time or penalties on the day.

Last season, after Celtic conquered Motherwell to win a double treble, they successfully applied to Glasgow City Council for a permit to have an open top bus parade after Hampden. The scenes on the day will be played over and over for years to come and the images forever frozen in Celtic folklore.

However, there will be no repeat of this due to Celtic booking the stadium for the Rugby event. The SFA detail fixtures for ALL rounds of the competition at the start of the season and it’s a big own goal by the club.

Should Celtic win the treble treble, and of course, nothing can be taken for granted then the club are now discussing the options for a celebration afterwards which may take place a day later OR somewhere else on the day.
