The midfielder came into Celtic last season with high expectations. Since then, the player has had very little game time and he failed to make it into the pre-season squad as well as the first two games of this season.
The writing has been on the wall for some time but today Celtic confirmed their winger has been loaned out for this season to Belgian outfit KV Mechelen.

Neil Lennon has never fancied the wide man. The manager sees everyone in training and has never deemed Marian up to scratch.
It seems to be an ill fated move from the start. After all, Brendan Rodgers has no idea Celtic were signing Shved when it was brought up in a press conference. At the time, Rodgers even criticised the move saying they had enough wingers.
We wish Marian all the best for the new season but he’ll not even be a footnote at Celtic by the time he moves on permanently.
