Celtic have confirmed a change to their October scheduling.
With the international break finally over, at least for the next three and a bit weeks, the team faces a packed schedule including clashes in the league, Champions League and League Cup.
Originally set for Saturday, October 26th, Celtic’s visit to Motherwell is now slated for the following day, Sunday, October 27th.

It could actually be a beneficial change for Celtic. It offers the team an extra day to recuperate after their trip to Italy to face last season’s Europa League champions.
Sky Sports will broadcast the match live from Fir Park, with the broadcaster hoping for matches that will mirror last season, when Celtic needed last-minute goals on more than one occasion to seal the three points. Matt O’Riley and Adfam Idah were last-minute heroes in visits to the ground last season.
This match is after the international break in October. There are three in the first three months of the season, something that is highly disappointing.
With the September one over, the October one is just around the corner. November also has a break scheduled, but, after that, the next break isn’t until March, thankfully. The disruptions won’t help Brendan Rodgers’ side momentum, but it will give some players, like Callum McGregor, some well-deserved rest.
