While wishing all the best to players who have departed Celtic since the close of last season, the club also welcomed back three bhoys who will continue their progression with Celtic over the next 12 months.

The club let a lot of people go this summer with loans ending and contracts finishing. As personnel changes go, it has been a busy summer with the Parkhead exit very busy.

Celtic had three trialists playing for them on Sunday against Arbroath as they look to replenish their developmental squad but as they’ve noted, they now have three bhoys back who will be looking to kick on next season.

Ross Doohan, Jack Aitchison and Robbie Deas.

Ross Doohan was on-loan Ayr United, Jack Aitchison had two separate loans at Dumbarton and Alloa while Robbie Deas was playing for Cowdenbeath.

Celtic have a plethora of talent in their youth ranks and there’s stiff competition for places in the side. All will be aspiring to make their way up the ladder this term.
