Celtic continued to silence critics with an impressive 3-0 win over St Mirren this afternoon.

The Hoops are now four clear at the top of the Scottish Premiership with Reo Hatate, Kyogo Furuhashi, and Adam Idah all getting on the scoresheet.

With Rangers in action tomorrow away against Ross County and on Wednesday against Dundee, Celtic have put daylight between the sides for now.

The upturn in form comes at a crucial juncture of the season, and Brendan Rodgers appears to be taking the Scottish Premiership title race in his stride.

With Callum McGregor not starting the game and Liam Scales and Daizen Maeda both missing due to injury, the win becomes even more impressive without three players in the starting 11 who usually feature week in, week out

Celtic face yet another crucial game next weekend against Aberdeen at Hampden in the Scottish Cup semi-final, with the chance to reach yet another Scottish Cup final.
