CELTIC could be set to rake in even more cash from their record-setting former striker after it was revealed Arsenal are chasing Lyon’s Moussa Dembele.
The former Parkhead frontman had a slow start to his Lyon career but has really kicked on in the last four or five months to become a fan-favourite. The player is now attracting interest from the Premier League and with Celtic having a sell on clause in his contract, the club could be set to top up what they got for the Frenchman last summer.
According to FootballScotland – Arsenal are seriously considering a move for the striker with the players fee believed to be €50m if any clubs were interested in taking him away from France.
This would earn Celtic a large chunk of cash in the summer that you would hope to see reinvested in the team and perhaps a new manager.
There’s no guarantee Dembele will move on though – the striker and his reps are very careful when it comes to where the striker plays his football.
