During the week, Patryk Klimala completed his move to New York Red Bulls as the rebuilding job got underway.

Now, it looks like the club are set to offload another striker with Vakoun Bayo being linked with a move away from Celtic in the summer.

As reported by Sun Sport, Bayo is attracting interest from Tunisian side Esperance who have supposedly enquired about the availability of the Ivory Coast frontman.

Bayo is currently spending the season on loan at French Ligue 2 side Toulouse and has hit some decent form in 2021 after a bit of a slow start there.

Toulouse currently has an option to buy on the 24-year old but it looks unlikely that they will be taking this up.

If a move to Tunisia was to come about, this wouldn’t be the first time that the Ivorian has played there, having spent time at Etoile du Sahel before earning his move to Europe with Dunajska Streda.

This feels like the right time to be offloading players who don’t have a future at the club for as much as possible and Bayo certainly feels like one of those players we should be moving on.

From what we have seen so far, whilst at Celtic and out on loan it is unlikely that we would see the striker come back and make much of an impact in Glasgow.
