CELTIC brought in a much needed striker this month to come in and help Odsonne Edouard out in the coming months.

However, we have two strikers already ate the club who are in desperate need of sustained game time in order to get back to their best.

That leaves Celtic in a position where they either loan them out or have both Bayo and Griffiths languishing on the periphery of the squad.

While it might not be prudent to get rid of both on loan this month, it makes complete sense to send one of the players out to get game time and fit.

The best case scenario we could see for either Bayo or Griff is to be loaned out to another SPFL side.

Bayo could 100% benefit from playing for another SPFL time BUT the hidden advantage is we’d be providing another team in the league with some firepower. A scenario where Bayo could hurt Celtic’s title rivals playing for another side.

The other side of the coin would be Griffiths heading back to Hibernian on-loan for six months, helping the Edinburgh side out and at the same time coming up against The Rangers twice. He could have a bigger say in the SPFL title playing for Hibs right now than Celtic.

  1. Totally agree with this idea. This would counteract what we face in every game with both Ibrox minded players and managers of other teams doubling their efforts against us while having off days when they face their idols.
We need to fight against the bias which is everywhere in the Scottish game and this is one way of doing this.

  2. Total stupid piss. You win the league being the best team, this is paranoid celtic at its best. How many goals did Griff score to win points against sevco.Get a grip we will win the league without Bayuo or Griff in the team hail hail.
