The away allocation for Celtic’s trip to Fir Park in the Premier Sports Cup has been revealed [@CelticFCTickets].

Celtic are set to receive a total of 4,614 for the cup clash with the Hoops filling the South stand.

With the return of crowds last year, Celtic received a lower allocation from Motherwell than they used to due to facilities within the stand being used for the away team to change in.

This meant that sections of the stand were lying empty but that looks to have now been changed with Hearts fans occupying all areas in their most recent visit.

Ange Postecoglou’s team have already dispatched Ross County in the cup and will be hoping for a similar result to book a place at the national stadium in the semi-final.

The League Cup was a vitally important trophy for Celtic last season as it was the first piece of silverware won under Postecoglou and gave the fans an even greater belief in the team that they could succeed.

Due to the World Cup, there will be no final before Christmas this year with Hampden showdown booked for Sunday 26 February.

This quarter-final tie comes in amongst a hectic schedule of games for Celtic both domestically and in Europe.

There has also been controversy surrounding this match after it was announced that the game was to be a 18.15 kick-off on a Wednesday night.
