CELTIC’s second choice goalkeeper, Scott Bain has told Celtic fans if they win at Ibrox next month it could be all the sweeter with just a small allocation or even no allocation for the game.

The bhoys are used to 8,000 mad Celtic fans cheering them onto victory but since the party Ibrox board got upset with the jubilant Celtic scenes in their ground they decided to cut the allocation.

It will be a strange atmosphere for sure but it isn’t phasing Bain who admits the idea of beating a home side at Ibrox with the whole stadium Gers fans could be sweeter than ever.

Speaking ahead of the Bet Fred Cup Final where the Goalkeeper is poised to play, Bain is positive a win at Ibrox is all that will count.

“I don’t know how it would feel without any fans. But it would be good to win it!” Bain told the Herald.

“We will see on the day. I am sure there will be Celtic fans who want to go and watch the game. But fewer Celtic fans also means it will be a bit sweeter once we win the game.”

Scott Bain has played in all League Cup games this season and Brendan Rodgers will put his trust in his second string star again. The Irishman has faith in the former Dundee man!
