CELTIC are set to go to war with their Glasgow rivals in December to fight over the first bit of silverware of the season.
Hampden will be at capacity on the day and it promises to be a lively affair.
However, Celtic have already been handed a defensive blow ahead of the tie with Hatem Elhamed ruled out of the game after picking up an injury against Lazio according to SunSport.
The Israeli played against the Ibrox side in September when the bhoys beat Steven Gerrard’s men in their own backyard. During that game, Elhamed was a rock for Celtic at right-back and made one top intervention to deny Jermaine Defoe an opportunity at goal.
The bad news for Hatem means good news for Jeremie Frimpong who now looks like he will start the game at Hampden in December now. The youngster has gone from unknown to potentially playing in a Glasgow Derby final in just a few months.
