Boli Bolingoli has most definitely kicked his last ball for Celtic.
The defender was sent out on loan to a Russian lower league side earlier this season but didn’t make a game before being sent back due to the conflict.
Boli was back in Scotland briefly but his instagram appears to show the left-back in Belgium training on his own.
Bolingoli is still under contract at Celtic and you would think they’d have him in some sort of training. He’s clearly been given permission to head back to Belgium and see out the rest of the season there.
Since Boli’s player registration can’t be transferred back to Celtic until the transfer window opens in the summer, there was no chance he could’ve played for Celtic this season anyway.
It’s widely expect the player will leave Celtic in the summer. Ange has used Boli on two occasions and has clearly not been impressed.
Greg Taylor has made the position his own this term but the club really need to look into reinforcing the left back area. Liam Scales is in the building but has not been in a matchday squad for some time.
Ange had to shift Ralston to left-back during the Scottish Cup semi-final because we’re short in that area.
Hopefully, the left back situation is rectified in the summer. As for Bolingoli, his move to Celtic has not been good for anyone.
