Celtic sealed the Scottish Cup this afternoon after a 1-0 win at Hampden against Rangers to secure the trophy in spectacular fashion in the 90th minute.
Rangers midfielder Todd Cantwell was unable to stop former Norwich City teammate Adam Idah from netting the winner, with Cantwell substituted in the 74th minute.
The Englishman, who seems to enjoy posting Instagram stories more than scoring goals, caused controversy among Rangers supporters after posting a photo on his Instagram story earlier in the week titled ‘Shushburger,’ with a picture of him scoring against Hearts at Tynecastle last Saturday in a 3-3 draw.
One Celtic defender made sure to poke fun at Cantwell post-match this afternoon with a comment on a teammate’s Instagram post.
Alistair Johnston’s comment, ‘Eating a 🤫burger tonight wee man???’ directly pokes fun at Cantwell for yet again falling short in the Glasgow derby.
Having consistently posted on Instagram, the Englishman tends to get ahead of himself before playing against Celtic.
With Celtic stars Greg Taylor and Johnston aware of this, they continue to poke fun at Cantwell’s expense.
With the English midfielder’s Ibrox career stop-start, to say the least, he has proven to be yet another Rangers player who does their talking off the pitch and falls flat on their face on the pitch, in a similar mould to that of fellow countryman Joey Barton.
Tod the Plod, just can’t help putting his big feet in his big mouth, he sure talks the talk, but when it comes to walking the walk Tod is like a square peg in the round hole, only way for it to fit is become smaller.
