JOZO SIMUNOVIC has reiterated his desire to stay at Celtic even though there has been speculation this summer he could move on.
The big defender has been linked with a move to England as well as Italy. Due to Brendan Rodgers dropping the player in the second half of Celtic’s season many thought if the right bid comes in, the club would be open to it.
However, after playing in last night’s 3-0 win against Alashkert, Simunovic told Celtic fans he’s ready for another Champions league tilt!
“I definitely want to stay and play in the Champions League again. I’m still a Celtic player and I’m happy here. I’m just looking forward.
“I don’t worry about interest from other clubs. I’m here and I’m happy playing games. That’s the most important things.
“It’s not just about me — a lot of clubs are keen on other boys.
“You can be sure that we are giving everything here and aren’t thinking about offers. Celtic play European football every year.
