CELTIC have helped boost the coffers of every SPFL club today as UEFA release the solidarity payment funds.
The money which is a direct result of Celtic’s Champions League involvement last term will be shared among the clubs with the 11 sides get equal share according to STV.
The clubs received a similar payment last year but will not be getting it next term as a result of Celtic not making the Champions League group stages this year.
Celtic have been flying the flag for Scotland in Europe for quite some time and have brought money into clubs who have put it to good use.
Maybe clubs with plastic pitches should get a real pitch installed with the cash – I doubt it!
The bhoys are in action in the Europa League tonight against Leipzig on matchday three.
This will be a massive test for the bhoys and experience which will be valuable as they look to qualify for next years Champions League.
If they are the same club why dont celtic claim it back against the money the old club owes them?
