Celtic will have three representatives in the nominees for player and young player of the year in the PFA awards.

The two Hoops players up for the PFA POTY award are Callum McGregor and Tom Rogic. Two lads who are well respected within the Scottish game. Although it’s very surprising none of our new bhoys haven’t managed onto the list. CCV would have been a stick-on to be a nominee for us!

Elsewhere, we have Liel Abada in the running for PFA YPOTY. The Israeli has been brilliant in his first season for celtic, scoring some very important goals and assists. We can’t see past the Israeli for the top award, he’s up against competition we’d expect him to beat.

Callum McGregor is deserving more than most of the award for player of the year considering hoe he’s helped turn around an entire club within a 12 month period

PFA Scotland Premiership Player of the Year nominees:

Callum McGregor
Tom Rogic
Craig Gordon
Regan Charles-Cook

PFA Scotland Young Player of the Year nominees:

Calvin Ramsay
Josh Doig
Connor Barron
Liel Abada

Personal accolades are great but the bhoys in the running will want to win the title first and foremost. Getting the Championship over the line would be an incredible achievement and beat any solo award that comes their way.
