Celtic have drawn FC Shakhter Karagandy in the Champions League play off.

Shakhtyor Karagandy finished third in first half of their league season, qualifying for the championship group halfway through their campaign.

It will be a tough test for the Parkhead side but a challenge they should be able to overcome.

The first leg will likely take place away from Karagandy’s home ground in the Astana Arena as it has a bigger capacity.

Glasgow to Astana is 4782km, if they flew in the other direction Celtic would reach Boston.
