Celtic are looking to make it ten domestic trophies on the bounce this coming Sunday when they take on their Glasgow rivals in the League Cup semi-final.
Celtic fans have made so many visits to the national stadium over the past three years you’d think the club wouldn’t have to give us any information about how things go on the day.
However, the Celtic FC Slo, John Paul Taylor is making sure the support is prepared for extra checks and the new ticket system at Hampden.
This was in place for the semi-final against Hibernian but Hampden has finally caught up with the rest of us and introduced a new scanning entry system to the national stadium.
The way the turnstiles work is a bit weird, you scan at the wall and there’s a decent amount of space between the scanner and the actual turnstiles, so make sure you get through before the green light disappears.
Here is Celtic’s message to supporters.
Gates open on Sunday at 1:30 fans are encouraged to get along early, there will be enhanced ticket ticket cordons and searches in place. Hampden now operates a barcode entry system so advice is keep your ticket intact until you are inside the Stadium, enjoy yirsel 🍀 pic.twitter.com/RVMLkRgYPf
