Celtic duo Jota and Carl Starfelt boarded a flight to Ibiza 24 hours after lifting the SPFL title. When they got on the plane the bhoys got a big surprise when there were plenty of loud mouth Ibrox fans on the flight, happy to annoy them because they were in numbers.
The Ibrox fans sang at the Celtic duo and managed to put a sticker on Jota’s hat during the flight.
Both men have just helped dethrone The Rangers from their position as Champions of Scotland so it would stand to reason a group of their supporters would do their best to irritate and annoy.
I doubt either man was too bothered by it.
Jota has been sensational for Celtic this season and Carl has been a rock in the back. Both playing in the famous game at Celtic Park when we thrashed The Rangers 3-0 to really kickstart our charge towards the title.
The Bhoys were also involved when we rocked up to Ibrox and got all three points.
Carl and Jota will likely be heading out for a well earned break after a long season.
We still don’t know Jota’s Celtic status and if he will return to the club next season. He signed off the campaign with a goal against Motherwell on Saturday.
