CELTIC welcome Hearts to Celtic Park on Wednesday evening in what will be a cold, wet and bitter Scottish night in Glasgow.

A game where it’s top versus bottom but the bhoys can take nothing for granted.

Hearts are fighting for their lives while the bhoys need to keep the distance between themselves and the Ibrox club.

It promises to be a fiery affair come 7:45pm.

Since Neil Lennon started deploying the 3-5-2 we’re now unsure what system the Celtic manager will go with on any given day. The return of Mohamed Elyounoussi makes things interesting and could mean the manager reverts to a 4-3-3 of sorts against Hearts as he did against Clyde.

Edouard is an obvious starter and there’s so much talent throughout the team, it’s impossible to keep everyone happy at the moment. If Lenny goes for the 3-5-2 then Griff and Eddy will start this evening. If it’s the one up top then Eddy will start alongside Moi and Forrest with Griff dropping down to the bench.

Nir Bitton and Hatem Elhamed haven’t made the squad with both not ready after returning to training this week.

Here is the provisional squad for this evening as cited by RecordSport:

  • Forster,
  • Bauer,
  • Hayes,
  • Ajer,
  • Bolingoli,
  • Simunovic,
  • Taylor,
  • Jullien,
  • Brown,
  • McGregor,

  • Christie,
  • Forrest,
  • Soro,
  • Elyounoussi,
  • Edouard,
  • Klimala,

*As always, the provisional squad is subject to change and not everyone here will make the cut.
