CELTIC DUO Lewis Morgan and Greg Taylor look like they will benefit from more call-offs in the Scotland squad ahead of the next two fixtures.

Steve Clarke is having to contend with major call-offs every month but the latest round of players not showing up means Lewis Morgan has now been drafted into the squad.

For Greg Taylor, he now has the chance to play at left-back with both Andy Robertson and Kieran Tierney not in the Scotland squad.

The Scotland setup has become a shamble over the past few years with wholesale call-offs near enough every time there’s an international break. Playing for your country doesn’t hold the same gravitas for many players nowadays who want to keep themselves right for club football.

Morgan and Taylor are on the outskirts of the Celtic team at the minute. International football for both could give both a confidence boost ahead of a hectic December schedule.
