Ange Postecoglou has told there are only two players not available for the Aberdeen opener on Sunday.

The bhoys get set to raise the curtain on the 22-23 season on Sunday and will have most of their squad available for selection.

The two men missing are Carl Starfelt and Yosuke Ideguchi. The manager told us at the press conference on Friday afternoon both will miss the game and probable a few more.

Carl has been sidelined since being stretched off for Sweden in the summer. It’s good to hear he’s back on the mend but will take some time to get up to speed. No pre season at all means the defender will be playing catch up for a month or so.

Yosuke Ideguchi can’t catch a break after picking up a nasty injury at Lennoxtown. Hopefully, he can get his season up and running asap!

Celtic will unfurl the flag on Sunday afternoon in front of a Sold out crowd and live on Sky Sports.
