Celtic duo Kyogo Furuhashi and Tom Rogic are set to face off in tomorrow’s World Cup qualifier between Japan and Australia.
The international break has had varied success for the two players, with Australia continuing their impressive winning run. Whilst Japan slipped further behind in the group with a 1-0 loss to Saudi Araba.
After starting on the bench last time out, it is expected that Kyogo will come into the starting line-up for Japan in tomorrow’s game.
On the opposition side of things, Rogic will be hoping to remain in the Socceroos starting 11 to pick up his 51st cap.
Whatever the outcome, Ange Postecoglou and Celtic fans alike are going to be keeping a close eye on proceedings during this game in the hope that neither of the two picks up any injury issues – because that is certainly something we are not needing.
